About YTKits — Free YouTube Creator Analytics & Tools

Our Mission

YTKits exists to help YouTube creators understand public channel data and make better-informed decisions about their own work. The tools explain which values come from YouTube, which values are calculated, and where public data cannot provide an answer.

Whether you're inspecting a public video category, comparing visible statistics or testing a revenue scenario, the core YTKits tools are available without requiring a login.

How It Started

YTKits was born from frustration. As a YouTube creator with 5+ years of experience, I constantly needed quick answers:

  • How much could my channel realistically earn?
  • Which category is attached to a public video, and what topic does its metadata suggest?
  • Which words and topics recur in a channel's recent public uploads?
  • Which public signals can be reviewed without claiming access to private monetization status?

Most existing tools either didn't exist, were behind paywalls, or required entering API keys and dealing with complex interfaces. So I built YTKits to solve these problems the way I wanted to solve them: free, simple, and useful.

Our Tools

  • 💰 Revenue Estimator — Explore an adjustable earnings scenario based on public views and selected RPM assumptions.
  • 🤖 AI Category Predictor — Compare a metadata-based topic prediction with a video's public YouTube category.
  • 🔍 Keywords Extractor — Summarize recurring words and topics from a channel's recent public video metadata.
  • ✅ Monetization Signals Review — Review public signals that may be consistent with monetization, with clear limits about private YPP and revenue status.
  • ⚔️ Video Comparison Tool — Compare two YouTube videos side-by-side across key engagement, view velocity, and performance metrics.
  • 📊 Video Inspector — Analyze detailed metrics from any public YouTube video including views, engagement, and performance indicators.

Our Values

Accessible Core Tools

The core public tools can be used without an account. If optional paid features are introduced later, their price and limitations will be disclosed before purchase.

Honest Data

We're transparent about what our tools can and can't do. Estimates are estimates. Predictions are predictions. We don't pretend to have access to YouTube's secret algorithm.

Creator First

YTKits is built by someone who actually runs a YouTube channel. We understand creator pain points because we experience them ourselves.

No Spam

We do not send unsolicited marketing email or sell personal information to data brokers. Google Analytics measures site usage as explained in the Privacy Policy. Google advertising technologies may process data when advertising is enabled.
