YTKits publishes original explanations, tool methodology and creator observations. External information is attributed, and copied or lightly rewritten third-party articles are not accepted.

• Honest tone: We explain what worked, what didn't, and what we're uncertain about
• No plagiarism: Ideas may be similar to other guides, but the writing, examples, and data are our own

Accuracy & Verification

Before publishing, every article is reviewed for:

• Factual accuracy: Claims about YouTube features are verified against official documentation
• Data integrity: Numbers and statistics are sourced, labeled as estimates or limited to the context in which they were observed
• Consistency: Information doesn't contradict other YTKits articles or official sources

Helpful Structure

YTKits articles follow a consistent structure to maximize usefulness:

We publish personal observations. What we don't publish:

• Advice we haven't personally tested or verified
• Guarantees about results (all outcomes depend on context)
• Clickbait headlines or exaggerated claims

Transparency About Bias

We're transparent about our perspective:

• YTKits tools: Articles sometimes mention YTKits tools when relevant. We note these as tools we built, not objective third-party recommendations
• Niche perspective: Our experience is primarily with gaming and creator tools. We acknowledge this may not apply to all niches
• Geography: Our audience is primarily India-based. Data and observations may differ globally

Citation & Attribution

All external information is cited. This includes:

• Links to official YouTube documentation (not just homepage, but specific docs)
• Attribution to published research or studies
• Clear distinction between personal observation and published data

What We Don't Publish

To maintain editorial integrity, YTKits does not publish:

• Paid sponsorships disguised as guides: If someone pays us to recommend something, we disclose it
• Affiliate-driven content: We don't write guides primarily to earn affiliate commissions
• Unreviewed generic content: Automated assistance must not be used to invent experience, sources, measurements or author credentials
• Outdated information repackaged: We update old articles rather than republishing them under new titles
• False or misleading claims: We fact-check before publishing

Reader Trust & Quality Signals

We signal article quality through:

• Author attribution: Articles are signed with author name and credentials
• Publication dates: Readers see when articles were published and last updated
• Source attribution: External factual claims link to relevant sources where needed
• Clear disclaimers: We note when information is personal observation vs. universal

Correction Process

When errors are found, we:

2. Update the "Last Updated" date
3. Document the correction on our Corrections page (for significant changes)
